Hold a ghost and never redance history in 2053. Spaces are channels, my body is a channel, if spaces could spit out, if spaces could fart out. Old metals glitter in weaker suns on weaker soils. Bitten white tongues refuse repatriation. The violence is thick in the air. Is it my stolen memory? Or is it yours? The image is corruption as well as fantasy.

In the site-specific choreography Ronald Berger, Marie Carangi, Olivia Hyunsin Kim, Rebecca Korang, Billy Morgan and Sunny Pfalzer inquire personal as well as collective stories and monuments in order to investigate imperialist and colonialist gestures manifested in urban architectur in the district of the southern Friedrichstadt in Berlin. The performers aim to know their ghosts in order to create intersectional, imaginary futures and bring romance and vandalism closer to each other.

Hold a Ghost was curated by Marenka Krasomil as part of the exhibition “Flaneurin oder Spaßverderberin?" at feldfünf and Léna Szirmay-Kalos as part of the performance exhibition "Ecology of Attention 1&2" by Montag Modus at Alte Münze.
